This is the last one in the set. I believe there are about 8 pictures. You should look at them. You see that tree almost in the middle of the picture in the background...that is where the river usually stops! O.O Lots of water.

Oh man this is uncomfortable. BHC's are not very fun. I'm wondering what actual labor is going to feel like now. Also on a side note I am now 30 weeks pregnant. Getting so damn close huh.

Pregnancy Stresses

Okay so the person that was renting out mine and Billy's house is finally out, I believe. Or at least she will be gone by the end of the month. This makes Billy and I feel a lot better...although not entirely. Just found out that Billy's hours are getting cut starting next week. Instead of 40 hours a week next week he only has 27 or so. He basically only has half his hours. This means we are going to have to reevaluate the budget. We are going to have one hell of a time catching up, but you know what we should be able to do it, for the most part. If she is out soon enough though I'll be moving back up there with a roommate until Billy can transition up there. The only bad thing is that I really like the doctor I chose down here, and it's almost time to have a baby. :( Not to mention my birth support is down here.
I wish this was easier. Like earlier in the pregnancy easier. Then it wouldn't be such a big deal to find a new doctor and set everything up...but it's so late in the pregnancy that it's fairly impossible to find a doctor and support system this quick for the birth. I mean I know I have support for after she is born, but right now...
I know I shouldn't stress over it. It's not good for me or the baby. So I just need to relax, and try to get Billy to do the same. And for all of you girls that read my journal...there is nothing weirder than a Braxton Hixs Contraction! Your abdomen gets all hard and ridged for a minute and then it's just gone. Poof. It doesn't hurt, it just feel so damn weird and a bit uncomfortable. I still haven't gained that much weight. But I'm fine with that because that means this year I will accomplish my News Years Resolution. To lose 25lbs. Yes I realize that I'm cheating by losing pregnancy, but you know what it's okay. It's all going to be worth it to hold in my arms what I've been carrying all these months.

Right now I want to be in my home; I want my friends happy; I want to hold in my arms this little baby that I just can't wait to meet.

I guess that is all of it for the moment. I will post more as soon as I do. :)

Disturbing

There were a few break-ins over night last night. Billy's Grandpa Don (the one we are staying with) was targeted. He lost 2 circular saws, a jigsaw and a 4 ft. magnetic level. Other people lost tools, grills, gas, and misc. other items. Billy and I are freaking lucky because his check was in the car last night and was still there this morning when everything got looked over. Right now I'm trying to figure out a way that I can help his grandpa come up with $250 for the deductible (he is a contractor and so his insurance will cover it. This really really sucks because of the fact that he hasn't had work in 6 weeks and was just offered to start a job on Wed.) Oh well something good should come out of this.

Ahaha

My medicad has finally gone through...and they are retroacting it for the begining of the pregnancy! Freaking awesome. I no longer have to worry about the birth because I had already racked up about 20k in hospital bills (what with dehydration and whatnot) ohhh and now I can get medications that get prescribed to me....too bad this didn't happen when I had that freaking $480 prescription for my morning sickness that would have made me a lot happier. Oh well I have it now.

Okay the first one is going to be my part of a trade with Onisyra. I really wish I could get the scanner to work but the camera has to do for getting it up. Please enjoy Oni.The second one is of the pie that I made for Christmas. I finally got my camera back from Billy so I can post it.

Weekly health update

Okay so I just got back from the doctors office a few hours ago. They said everything is going okay. I am at the right size for how far along I am. I had to do the stupid blood glucose level test again (Jaspenelle take the orange flavor if you can. It tastes the best) I almost had to repeat it because of the lab not getting me in in time. That stupid test takes an hour to do and you can't eat during it either. But anyway the doctor I saw today (I go through a clinic) might be the doctor that I choose for the labor or I have another in mind, but she doesn't work during my next appointment. So it will either be Dr. Dickerson or Dr. Haung. Both of them answered my questions and concerns thoroughly and explained the difficult issues so that I would be able to repeat what was said to me and neither one of them got frustrated with me for forgetting what I was saying. I went over my birthplan today with Dr. Dickerson and she said that everything would be just fine to have, assuming everything goes to plan and there aren't any complications. I am now on 2 week appointments. So my next appointment is on the 15th and then around the 30th. The time is getting ever closer. Billy is taking those days off so that he can be a part of the end of the pregnancy. So after my next three appointments I will be on weekly appointments. Also we are looking into a doula to help me out because of how I do with medications. We talked about me not having narcotics or epidural and there are a lot of other options even if I did need a medication to take the edge off the pain. I will have to try to get pictures posted of this little one when she is born. I will be updating again in two weeks on the pregnancy.

My last Art Trade request Before the Baby.

As all of you know I am not that far away from my due date any longer. Just over two months to go now because as all know I am due March 23 or Easter Sunday. I would really like to do at least one art trade before this little girl comes into the world and I have no time to draw for the next gods only know how many years. Will anyone take me up on the trade?

http://www.draconic.com/includefiles/13547/Photo_2005_4_15_18_4_58_edited.jpg is a picture of my head. As most of you know I am the blueish one. The grayish one is Billy if anyone wanted to put him in there as well. I would only make one request though, that my form be drawn pregnant. :) It will wind up being hung in the nursery if that happens.

Thank you to everyone that reads this.

Another Year

Another year has come and gone.
Good friends have left and returned along with dear, dear family members.
A lot of what was lost has been found, although things have been lost as well.
We all are blessed in our own ways for this newest year upon us.
Although things happen that we cannot control we must remember life goes on.
Life. Death. Richness. Poorness. Friends. Family. All are intertwined.
I fell so lucky to have known all that I did this last year
And to have learned as much as I dared.
I renewed friendships, even though some fell back apart,
Found long lost family that I thought would be lost forever.
Fell in love over again, and also for the first time.
Here's hoping this newest year will bring as many surprises.
Here's hoping most of them are good in nature.
So to all my friends that read my journal, even those that don't
May you have a happy New Year and be able to look back on the past one with fondness.

The Year is ending on a sad note :(

First thing I found out this morning was that my Grandma DePew (my stepdads mom) died last night. I don't know if she went quietly or not. We all knew she was going to die, we just didn't know when. I wish I could make it up there, unfortunately we spent more than we should have the other day. Going to do things now to take my mind off of it.

Stupid effing house.

Okay so the house that Billy and I own up north is leaking again...I think it may be from neglect from our lovely tenet. So now Billy and I are running up north with money that we don't have just to see how much damage has actually been done to the house from this damned leak. I'm not very happy. Not to mention I am getting over some sort of bug. Was admitted into the hospital again last night for dehydration. That freaking sucked but at least today I can hold fluids and food down. I'm just really pissed about the house. If it wasn't something that our tenet could have prevented then I'm really going to try to convince Billy to file bankruptcy so that we can get that damn thing taken from us. It's been nothing but a pain in the ass since we signed the paperwork for it. We can use the money for the mortgage for other more important things...like getting ready for the baby and getting back out on our own. Stupid house.

I hate being around sick people

So everyone in the house has a cold, two of Billy's young cousins have strep along with his aunt, and the two little girls that his grandma watches have the flu. Gah this is horrible. It's Christmas Eve and everyone is sick, although Billy complains the loudest by far. Oh well I'm almost done being sick.

I CHALLENGE YOU ALL!!!

To a desert bake off. It doesn't have to be baked it can be a cool prepared no-bake. If you would place recipes and pictures and we can then do a poll after Christmas. I will post mine as soon as it is done. Will anyone take me up on the challenge?

EDIT: Here is the recipe for anyone that wants to try it.

Crust:
1/4 bar special dark chocolate. (coarsely broken)
3/4 box Nilla Waffers (crushed finely)
1 stick butter (melted)
1 large egg

Filling:
1 cup whipping cream, heavy
1/2 cup milk
1 package chocolate pudding mix-instant
1/8 bar special dark chocolate (grated)

Topping:
1 cup whipping cream
1/8 cup sugar
1/8 bar special dark (grated)
chocolate syrup

Directions:

To make the crust.
Preheat oven to 325
In large mixing bowl combine butter and Nilla waffers. Mix well. Add in chocolate pieces. Add in the egg. Evenly spread mixture in pie pan going up the sides as well. Bake for 30minutes. Take out of oven and cool 20 minutes. Place back in oven at 425. Bake additional 15 minutes. Set aside.

To make filling.
In large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except dark chocolate. Beat until thick. Fold in dark chocolate. Should have the consistancy of mousee. Evenly spread in cooled crust.

To make topping.
Combine whipping cream and sugar. Beat on medium speed until set (or wisk 15 minutes or until set) place evenly on top of the pie. Drizzle with Chocolate syrup and the sprinkle with grated chocolate.

Once assembled place in freezer. Can be made four days in advance or day of.

Enjoy. Sorry I don't have my camera at the moment. Billy hid it.
